Jordi Gene was born in Sabadell in 5th of December 1970 .
Married with two kids Maria (two years old) and Jordi (one year). Jordi belongs to a family that follows motorsport since his father is an enthusiast of cars. Marc (Jordi´s brother) has been racing in F-1 for the last 4 years two in Minardi and two in BMW Williams. So with all this ingredients it is easy to understand why was the youngest Spanish champion with 15 years when he became F Fiat winner.
When he was 17 had to take one of the most difficult decisions giving up his studies and going to England for five years. During this period he raced with drivers like Rubens Barrichello David Coulthard, Olivier Panis, Jackes Villeneuve and many more (almost half of the F-1 grid) during this years Jordi reached some of his most spectacular results like 2nd. Place in the F-3 world cup in 1991, 5th.place in international F-3000 in 1992 and very close to F-1 when he was F-1 test driver for Benetton.
Jordi Gene is one of the most complete drivers having competed in various categories with lots of success like turig cars, endurance races, Race Trucks, Singleseters and also motorbikes.
